Scenic Charters in False Bay...
False Bay is flanked by the Peninsula on the West and the Hottentot's Holland mountain range in the East.
It is one of the largest embayments on the South African coast. It was named False Bay by the early Portuguese seafarers

because, on their return trip from the Far East, they often mistook False Bay for Table Bay. The shore is lined with resorts and villages. These
coastal villages are

among the top holiday destinations in South Africa.
There are 3 different scenic charters to choose from, maximum 8 people per charter:
SIMON'S TOWN - SEAL ISLAND - SIMON'S TOWN (2 ½ hours)

On leaving the harbour, we pass
Glencairn viewing the exposed steam engine block of the
Clan Stuart shipwreck. Continuing into the beautiful bay of
Fish Hoek with its white pristine beach, onto the tranquil village of
Kalk Bay which still has a traditional fishing harbour, before making our way towards
Muizenberg, with its Victorian Villas. This Town also boasts one of the finest bathing and surfing beaches in the Cape.

We then head east towards
Seal Island, which has approximately 75 000
Cape Fur seals, a variety of
bird life and of course the
Great White shark. In winter, these sharks are very active and one can view the natural predation from the surface, which is a unique encounter very seldom experienced.
From Seal Island we head to
Boulders Beach, where you can see a large colony of endangered
African Penguins.
SIMON'S TOWN – CAPE POINT – SIMON'S TOWN (2 ½ hours)

We leave the harbour and make our way up towards the
Cape of Good Hope, more commonly known as
Cape Point,
where the
Two Oceans meet.

Here you can view the beautiful high cliffs and caves along this rugged coastline with the
fynbos meandering along the hills of the Cape Point nature reserve.
Ostriches, buck species and
baboons are often seen foraging along the coast line. This baboon community is the only one in the world that has adapted to a marine diet.

On leaving Cape Point en route back to Simon's Town, we travel into
Buffels Bay where
Da Gama and
Diaz 's crosses are visible on the shore. These monuments commemorate the two Portuguese navigator's great achievements.
Passing the scenic village of
Smitswinkels bay, which has no road access, we arrive at a colony
of
seals. Travelling on, we stop at
Boulders Beach which is home to a large endangered
African Penguin colony. Here we view penguins on the rocks, the beach and returning in schools from their days feeding.
